What is Digital Printing?

For Digital Printing we use a specialized inkjet technology to print your artwork directly onto a T-shirt. This process, called “Direct-To-Garment” (DTG) Printing, can reproduce full-color artwork and photographs on a wide variety of garments. The ink is heat-cured and will last a lifetime, even with repeated washings. The inks are water-based and there is very little waste produced making digital printing the most environmentally friendly process available for t-shirt printing.

Artwork Guidelines For DTG Printing

Highest Quality: .PDF, & .SVG

Vector-based graphics will result in the highest quality prints. The best vector formats to upload are .pdf and .svg but we also accept include: .cdr, .eps, and .ai* - *please note that .ai Adobe Illustrator files cannot be directly uploaded into the online designer, but can be uploaded as additional files with your order. If you need an Adobe file to be converted you can send it to us using our quote request form. Please make sure all the text in your file has been converted to outlines or flattened.

High Quality: Transparent .PNG 300 pixels/inch

Using a transparent background is ideal for digital printing because it makes it easy to print on all colors of fabric. A resolution of 300 pixels/inch (or dpi) is recommended for best results and should be at least 150 pixels/inch.
