For Digital Printing we use a specialized inkjet technology to print your artwork directly onto a T-shirt. This process, called “Direct-To-Garment” (DTG) Printing, can reproduce full-color artwork and photographs on a wide variety of garments. The ink is heat-cured and will last a lifetime, even with repeated washings. The inks are water-based and there is very little waste produced making digital printing the most environmentally friendly process available for t-shirt printing.
Vector-based graphics are the gold standard for printing. The best vector formats are .pdf and .svg but we also accept include: .ai*, .cdr, and .eps (*please note that .ai Adobe Illustrator files must be uploaded using our Information Form)
Using a transparent background is ideal for digital printing because it makes it easy to print on all colors of fabric. A resolution of 300 pixels/inch (or dpi) is recommended for best results but should be at least 150 pixels/inch.
